- To maintain acquired environmental standards and, in a way that is compatible with available human resources and finances, bring about continuous improvement in the prevention of pollution. To this effect, the organization intends to dedicate particular attention to aspects linked to atmospheric emissions and the need to reduce waste produced.
- To extend its environmental policy beyond the company’s site aiming at sensitizing its suppliers on the importance of environmental factors and, where possible, turning to suppliers who adopt processes with less of an environmental impact.
- To strive for clear forms of communication with the public aimed not only at spreading company policy to interested parties but also at receiving opinions/ideas and suggestions coming from outside that are important for critically evaluating the aims and objectives set by the company. With this in mind it aims at promoting cooperation between the various company resources, collaboration with businesses and trade union representation as well as with appointed external authorities.

Spa must be able to adapt continuously to the needs of the market in a rapid and flexible way and grow with the client; it must build up a relationship of faith with the client, seeing him as a partner proud to use a Ge.Ma.Ta. Spa product. The entire organization, including every worker, and each according to his/her tasks and competences, is responsible for the management of the quality, environmental and safety systems. All Ge.Ma.Ta. Spa personnel must feel that they are participating and involved in collaborating, following and reaching these objectives. Company success must also be considered a personal success.
